RE: need for help ? fail to install sowfware
"%CDROM%\yellowho\軟件\win updates\Messenger.exe"

should be

"%CDROM%\Software\MSN Messenger 8\Messenger.exe"

I downloaded MSNLive, extracted it and used this for my install:
MSNLive.Step.1=""%CDROM%\Software\MSNLive\MsnMsgs.msi" /QB"

------------------------------------------------------

For WinRAR and Acrobat Reader I always used /s and had no problem. Never tried /Q.

You can always snoop around http://www.ryanvm.net and might be able to find some switchless installers. Smile

Hope this help you a bit.

RE: need for help ? fail to install sowfware
I don't know, is MSN Messenger 8 same think like MSNLive ?

If yes, start creator -> remove MSN Messenger 8 and add like it ivains writes.

If no, start creator -> remove the wrong step from bottom window only and add a new step (if need with correct switch).

Same do for wrong steps by WinRAR and Adobe Reader.

Its better you don't edit settings.txt. It is very easy to make a misstake if you correct settings.txt manualy. One wrong, or missing letter and you have same problem again Wink

PS: MSN Messenger 8 is from MS -> try /Q again or /norestart /passive. You can test a switch in a dialog by pressing start -> run... -> select setup.exe and add your test switch

Hello

would you please post your code here
so for WinRAR and Adobe /S should work

ivains Wrote:"%CDROM%\yellowho\軟件\win updates\Messenger.exe"

should be

"%CDROM%\Software\MSN Messenger 8\Messenger.exe"

I downloaded MSNLive, extracted it and used this for my install:
MSNLive.Step.1=""%CDROM%\Software\MSNLive\MsnMsgs.msi" /QB"

For WinRAR and Acrobat Reader I always used /s and had no problem. Never tried /Q.

Hope this help you a bit.
